Product Description The currently selected Mimimamo size is L. One pair of L-size covers is included, designed to fit ear pads measuring 3.1 to 4.3 inches (80-110cm) in diameter. Crafted with highly absorbent, quick-drying Tencel fabric made in Japan, these covers provide a uniquely gentle and comfortable experience, feeling as smooth as silk and as soft as cotton against your ears. All Mimimamo products are hand-sewn by skilled artisans.

Please note that due to limited production volume, some items may occasionally be out of stock. Ear pads are in constant contact with your skin and can become dirty from sweat and oils. Fortunately, Mimimamo covers are water-washable, allowing you to keep them clean and fresh by washing regularly.

From the Brand It all began on a hot summer day when Mimimamo's president, Masayuki Hayashi, an avid headphone enthusiast, realized his ears were becoming sweaty and uncomfortable while enjoying music. Hayashi had previously experienced fungal ear infections from prolonged headphone use, heightening his sensitivity to maintaining dry, comfortable ears.

Determined to solve the problem, the engineer set out to create headphones with built-in ventilation fans. While effective at preventing sweat, the fans produced an unacceptably loud noise, making it impossible to enjoy the music. Undeterred, Hayashi explored alternative solutions, including connecting the headphones and fans with a tube to reduce noise. However, this approach still resulted in a disruptive engine-like sound.

Realizing a fundamental change in direction was needed, Hayashi then conceived the idea of a headphone cover using absorbent fabric to prevent sweat. Existing "headphone covers" had issues with comfort, fashion, and flexibility, so Hayashi set out to create the ideal solution.

Through a year and a half of trial and error, Hayashi developed a unique design using stretchable fabric and a flat elastic cord to ensure a perfect fit. He also carefully selected Tencel, a durable yet thin fiber derived from eucalyptus, to provide exceptional comfort during extended use.

Mimimamo was completed in the summer of 2014, offering excellent texture, style, and minimal sound impact. The product quickly gained popularity among music enthusiasts not only in Japan, but worldwide, fulfilling the needs of those who had long sought a comfortable, stylish headphone cover.
